Sioux Falls Senior Photographer :: Mai Senior 2012

This past summer I had the joy to work with so many wonderful seniors! Seniors are my far one of my favorite clients to work with. They are fun, artistic, full of energy and ideas. I love that they are willing to try my new ideas (like venturing on top of a building… or hanging out in a parking garage) and have ideas of their own. Since this summer was so crazy with awesome shoots, I am just getting around to posting these fun photos. Enjoy and stay tuned because MANY more will be posted shortly!

Kelly and Jeremy Tie the Knot! Sioux Falls Wedding Photography

Kelly and Jeremy had the most beautiful weather for their outdoor wedding. It was perfectly sunny, as well as just slightly breezy. I loved every part of their wedding from the unique centerpieces to the historic Bed and Breakfast in which the wedding took place. Kelly, you looked absolutely breathtaking and I am so happy for you and Jeremy!

Thank you for letting me be part of your big day!!

Simply Perfect Fashion Shoot Sioux Falls

I was chosen recently as the premier fashion photographer for Simply Perfect located Downtown Sioux Falls. It was an honor working with them to promote their new line of clothing. I love all of the pieces and can’t wait to go make some additions to my fall wardrobe! Look for some of these images in local magazines as they will be published in BIZNOW, She, as well as ETC. Enjoy!

Shane and Allison :: Tie the Knot! Sioux Falls Wedding Photography

Shane and Allison have been together for 7.5 years, but who’s counting? I loved Allison’s dress SO much. It is exactly what I would imagine she should wear. Beautiful, and sassy wrapped into a classy satin gown. Since Allison makes people beautiful for a living, I knew their wedding would be spectacular, and of course, it was. Shane made me cry; twice. Not just when he saw Allison walking down the isle, but also when Allison surprised him with a dream come true stretch Hummer to deliver them to their reception in style. I can honestly say, I’ve never seen anyone as excited and surprised as Shane was when Allison showed him the Hummer. It was EPIC.

I had a wonderful time hanging out with the two of you and your families for your beautiful, and chilly, wedding day. Thank you again for choosing to spend your day with me and I hope you have many happy years together!

Amanda & Kevin :: The Wedding!

Amanda and Kevin’s wedding is the first I’ve photographed in which the couple has chosen not to see each other before the bride walks down the isle. I, too, chose not to see my husband before I walked down the isle. Maybe it was this, maybe it was the way Amanda and Kevin kept stealing glimpses of each other through the ceremony, either way, I couldn’t help but smile and feel totally connected with them. I often found myself thinking, “Wow. This is so beautiful!”. I adored the way Amanda kept reaching out to Kevin’s hand and squeezing it tenderly and the way Kevin would glance over to Amanda and just smile at her glow. Their day, their details, their passion. I could have drank it in all day.

I am thrilled that you both choose me to document your big day. It was an honor and a privilege. Thank you so much! I hope you enjoy looking through your wedding photos and reliving this perfect day for many years to come. Congratulations Amanda and Kevin!
